In the afternoon of November 16, at the Digital Xiong'an Summit Forum of 2022 China International Digital Economy Expo, Xiong'an City Computing (Supercomputing Cloud) Center, Algorithm Platform, Rongdong District's first digital road and other digital city construction achievements were released.

Xiong'an Supercomputing Center Achieves Several Domestic Initiatives

Liu Xin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Xiong'an Digital City Technology Co., Ltd., announced the official operation of Xiong'an Urban Computing (Hypercomputing Cloud) Center. Xiong'an Urban Computing (Supercomputing Cloud) Center Project is the first batch of model projects started in Rongdong, an important support for building Smart Xiong'an, an important engine for high-quality development model of Xiong'an New Area, and a propeller for building global innovation highland.

The total construction area of the project is about 39,851 square meters, mainly including housing construction, Xiong'an cloud platform, Xiong'an supercomputing system supporting facilities. The project will achieve many tasks, such as the first domestic large-span column free IDC machine room, the first domestic landscape hidden urban computing center, the first domestic modular container machine room, the international first garden ecological hall, and ultra-low energy consumption in non-machine room areas.

Liu Xin said that Xiong'an Supercomputing Center is the "brain", "eye" and "core" of Xiong'an Digital Twin City, and an important carrier of Xiong'an Digital Twin City's operation service system. Its edge computing, supercomputing and cloud computing facilities will provide network, computing and storage services for the big data, blockchain, Internet of Things, AI, VR/AR of the entire digital twin city.

Building Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Based on Algorithm Platform

Hou Zhirong, Deputy General Manager of ICBC Technology Co., Ltd., released the platform of the algorithm training center. The platform is an online base for Xiong'an AI industry innovation, and is committed to becoming a new engine for Xiong'an intelligent city and digital economy construction. The construction of the platform can realize "check-in with bags", algorithm practitioners and enterprises are welcome to settle in, and jointly build a industrial chain and ecosystem of city-level AI in government, industry, university, research and use.

The platform has built basic capabilities including algorithm model management, algorithm dataset management, algorithm development and test support, which can provide algorithm research and development environment for algorithm research units. Relying on the data advantages of the New Area, the platform provides full life cycle services for algorithm development, training, updating and scheduling.

Benefiting from Xiong'an's extensive perception system and global aggregation data system, this will provide an adequate computational basis for algorithm development and training. "What is particularly critical is that Xiong'an Smart City's extensive algorithm application needs provide a wealth of pilot scenarios for algorithm training and use." Hou Zhirong said that the platform has built an algorithm warehouse channel, which can help select excellent algorithms and quickly apply them to Xiong'an intelligent city governance.

The World's First Intelligent Networking Road Operates in Rongdong

Li Ning, Operation Director of China Telecom Digital City Technology Co., Ltd., announced that the digital road in Rongdong District of Xiong'an New Area was officially put into operation. "The digital road in Rongdong area of Xiong'an New Area is the first intelligent network road in the world and the largest vehicle road collaborative test area in China." Li Ning said that the digital road covers the whole Rongdong area and was officially put into operation this year.

The project is undertaken by China Telecom Digital City Science and Technology Co., Ltd. in an integrated way of investment, planning and design, construction, maintenance and operation, and service operation. The overall construction of intelligent sensing facilities and supporting facilities covering all areas of transportation. The first integrated operation mode has been created, and a new mode of cooperation between enterprises and the government has been established. This will accelerate the construction of green intelligent transportation, realize real-time dynamic monitoring of people, vehicles and roads, and comprehensively improve the quality of transportation services and management efficiency.
